Domicile Filings is a document preparation, notarization, and address service operated by Certified Service Bureau LLC. We are not a law firm, CPA firm, or government agency and do not provide legal or tax advice. You can file a Declaration of Domicile yourself with your county clerk for the county's recording fee (typically $10). Whether a state treats you as a resident is decided by that state's tax authority; residents of California, New York, New Mexico, South Carolina, and Virginia should consult a tax professional before relying on a change of domicile. Government fees are charged separately at cost. Not affiliated with the State of Florida or any county clerk.
